Smoked Salmon and Corn Chowder

September 19, 2012 By Korena in the Kitchen 7 Comments

Sweet corn has got to be one of the best things about late summer. I could eat it every day straight off the cob, but sometimes it’s fun to do other things with it – like putting it in a creamy chowder with smoked salmon. Recipe on the SeaChange blog!

Oh my goodness this looks so good! I love smoked salmon – but have never had it in a soup! I think the best smoked salmon I ever had was in Idaho. A little corner store smoked their own. It was incredible!

Your soup looks so delicious Korena! I love corn too! I just bought 2 small cast iron skillets on sale and was thinking how wonderful would be to use them for some delicious corn casserole…
    Have a great weekend! πŸ˜‰

This looks so good! We’ve been covering the Nova Scotia Chowder Trail on our blog (35 Chowders from across NS) but none with corn yet. Once I recover from chowder overload I am trying this recipe!
